Oct 4, 2016 · I'm loading for a Stevens 200 in 7mm-08 AI. Hence my powder usage is slightly higher than standard 7mm-08 when loaded for accuracy, not max loads. (aka my most accurate loads are very near max 7mm-08 loads. Varget did ok for me. Nothing special to write home about. Decent powder, decent accuracy. Same with IMR 4350. Really do NOT like CFE223!! I saw in the newest Hodgdon Manual that the StaBal 6.5 they are getting 3200 fps with that bullet. I have 3 pounds of Stabal 6.5 coming my way.

I ended up using Win 760 for my wife's with a 140 NP at 2960FPS in a factory 700 24" barrel. L.

I did see a max load of 44.6 gr of Varget with a listed velocity of 3,050 fps which I'm assuming would be at or close to max, if not a bit past. I've never loaded that hot. Didn't see any accuracy data for it. Seems to me that your load would be hard to beat

If somewhere between 44 to 46 grains doesn't shoot straight something is wrong with the rifle. It should give right around 2800 fps from a 22" barrel. Do start lower, though. The Sierra manual tops out at 43.7 grains, Nosler at 44.5, Speer at 45 and Hornady at just over 46.

Hey, Has anyone ever used H4350 with 140gr projectiles in 7mm-08? How did it go? I'm going to save all my 120gr TTSX for my 280 AI, so I'm thinking of loading up 140gr E-Tips in my 7mm-08. I have IMR 4350, which Nosler has data for, but I'd really like to try and use up some of my H4350. Any help is appreciated.

I am using new Lapua brass and 139gn Interbonds. Hodgdon shows a starting load of 47gn and a max of 50gn. I started at 47 and am already compressing the load a tiny bit.
