Me and my friend had went to the secret military base and there was nothing at all. 1 zombie and no loot just the basic old stuff you would find at a house or city. Is this a bug?

To me I think it's a government facility that may actually contain secrets underground. The back of the building has an elevator that cannot be used (at the moment) and that might potentially be where all the secret stuff there is. But for now it's basically an office building with an absurd number of both normal and occasionally military zombies.

Ironically, rosewood has some millitary related spots. To the north of the town, you'll find a small barracks, you'll mostly find clothing there, but it will I cludevthe military backpack, which is the best in the game. If you're lucky, you might find some ammo and magazines, but the only gun I've ever found was a 1911.Choose map. The base itself is located close to the southwest edge of the map, deep in the wilderness, very far from everything. Just glancing at the map makes it very much stand out from its surrounding wilderness.

I drove up to the secret military base expecting to find it stocked with camo zombies, automatic rifles, fuel stocks etc, after the long and winding maze through the forest to get to it, and was woefully disappointed. There's practically nothing there, even with weapon loot set to abundant, though I got a good few military uniforms.
